I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cee-Jay at Best Buy in Champaign when he installed my dash cam. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. What really stood out to me was how well he communicated throughout the entire installation. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and took the time to ask about my preferences for how I wanted everything set up in my car rather than just making assumptions. I really appreciated that attention to detail and the fact that he wanted to make sure the final setup was exactly what I wanted. As a woman, I also especially appreciated that Cee-Jay treated me with genuine respect and never once made me feel like I didn’t know anything about cars. He spoke to me like a knowledgeable customer, listened to what I wanted, and made the whole experience comfortable and straightforward. That kind of professionalism really makes a difference. It was clear that Cee-Jay knows what he’s doing and takes pride in his work. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs an installation done right. Best Buy is lucky to have someone like Cee-Jay working for them. H

After extensive online research I went to the Champaign Illinois Best Buy to visually compare the new TV lineup only to find the entire display wall of new tvs lit up with the exception of the whole Sony section. I was told it had been out for two months and wouldn't be restored for at least another two months. SERIOUSLY.!!??

We live an hour away from the store. Drove there today and whomever was working the front register at 12:40ish needs to work on their customer service skills. He told us that they couldn’t issue a refund on our purchase that we would have to call the number that was given in order to do it. Oddly he left as soon as he was done “helping” us. Called the number and was informed yes he could have done this at the store. So, I can only assume that he didn’t want to take the time to help us because he wanted to go to break.

We have purchased a Sony TV on March 26th, 2026 at the store in Champaign IL. Due to a medical emergency, we could not test the TV within 15 days allotted for returning the TV to the store in case of malfunctioning or any other reasons. When we finally turned the TV on, we have discovered that there were two problems with it: 1. The person who had sold us this TV was not qualified to be selling this particular TV. We inquired several times if this particular TV model has the Picture in Picture capability. The sales person affirmed that it does. Upon turning the TV on, we had found out that this model does not have the Picture in Picture feature. 2. The WiFi module in the TV stopped working after 2 hours of operation. Since we only use streaming services, the failed WIFI module rendered this TV absolutely useless to us. I had gone back to the store and spoke with the manager. I had explained to the manager the medical emergency situation and asked for the replacement of the TV even though it is outside the 15 day window. The manager had told me that I should pay an additional $150 to replace the TV. Considering that the TV was $2,900 in the first place I thought this was mistre

Clean and well laid out store. I think every Best Buy has cut down on staff. We wandered the store a few times and did not find any 3d printers. Good selection of home secularity and automation items.
